Kate's going to be a big sister!

While we were in town for Kate's birthday weekend, we took the opportunity to share our good news with the family on Sunday, May 1st. Karen bought a special shirt for Kate with "I'm going to be a big sister" printed on it. We then had her wear it to lunch at mom's house after church, with Karen's parents joining us there. Everyone flipped, especially mom. Later we went over to Dad & Gayle's house and Gayle discovered the message and screamed loud enough that dad stopped watching the NASCAR race and came into the other room. When he saw it he just reached for Karen and gave her a big ol' hug. Here's Kate in her new shirt.
