New Year's weekend

I headed back to WF on Sunday 12/28 for work on Monday while Karen and the kids were to stay on and enjoy some time with the rest of the family. Well, everyone got sick on vacation, so the family came home early on Wednesday in time for New Year's Eve. Was nice to have those most important around again after missing them a few days :). We had a great time over the New Year's weekend sorting out where which toys went where, etc. The kids begged to have their tents up so we managed that. We decided we needed some more space for the kids to play w/o getting into the computers, printers, etc so the former office is now the new playroom and we've consolidated our (my) geek gear to a single lockable enclosure. Nothing like being demoted from a desk that took up two walls in college to a closet, haha! :D In reality, it's pretty awesome being able to secure the PC and printer into a small space and give the kids some room to spread out and play on a larger scale w/o sacrificing our living room.
